Race report from 2015.

11am, Carincastle, Larne.

This is a short but tough race, just over 4 miles, with plenty of short sharp climbs (approx. 1630 ft) and descents.

Start at Linford Car park, Feystown Road (follow Ballycoose road from Carincastle).

Mulled wine and mince pies for afters in Mattie’s Meeting House, Cairncastle.

Entries on the day only. Normal NIMRA kit list required. Please ensure you have proper fell shoes.

This is a charity race; we don’t have a minimum entry fee but all donations on the day will be given to The Children’s Heartbeat Trust.

Laura Smiths (NIMRA member and part of the Knockdhu organising team) has a 5-year-old niece Rosie, who was born with transposition of the heart arteries, amongst other complications. This charity supports children like Rosie and her family. https://www.childrensheartbeattrust.org.
