British Championship & Rocky

Best wishes to Newcastle AC this weekend. The fourth round of the British Championship is a short race on Pen Y Ghent in the Yorkshire Dales. Currently their mens team is first overall in the vet category with a maximum of 36 points ahead of Clayton with 24 and Cumberland FR with 23 points. Their open team is 4th. In the individual catetogies Robbie Bryson is equal first with Mark Rigby in the vet category with Deon McNeilly third and Dermot McGonigle 8th. Robbie is also second in the Open category with Deon 15th.

The 9th round of this years Acheson & Glover Hill & Dale Series takes place at Rocky this Thursday night. With Neil Carty securing the open mens series last week and Sharon McBurney already crowned ladies champion, attention will be shifting to the vets and junior categories.
