British & Irish Juniors

Vicky Clegg was once again the top Northern Irish performer at the British and Irish Junior Fell Running Championships held last weekend in the Pentland Hills on the outskirts of Edingburgh.

Vicky came through strongly to finish in 7th place in a time of 24:21 improving on her 10th place last year. and was backed up by Clare Dobb in 16th and Nicola McCaughey in 17th. All three have another year in the age group.

Other good performances came from Jordan Neil who finished an excellant fourth in the Open under 14 race, and Aveen OReilly who finished 10th in the Under 16 girls race.
