Donard Commedagh

This event on Saturday is the third race in the nine race Northern Ireland Mountain Running Championship, following Gullion & Bearnagh. It is a medium event, with record times of 63:29 (male) and 72:51 (female), set in 1999 when it was a British Championship race. I guess most runners should allow a little longer than this! The race starts at 11 am, with registration in Donard Car Park, Newcastle, from 10 am. The race will start and finish in the grass area beyond the car park.

In the Championship list of nine races, this is the first medium event, with Rostrevor (also selection) on 5 July and Donard on 18 July (note Friday evening).
