Glenariff Preview

This Saturday (22nd March) sees the second running of the Glenariff Mountain race promoted by Ballymena Runners and sponsored by Glens of Antrim Potatoes.

The race is billed as an introductory mountain race and has been designed especially for all those wanting to give the sport a try.

A top quality field is also expected with reigning Northern Ireland champion Brian Ervine (Ballydrain) and last years winner Neil Carty (North Belfast) both expected to start. Sharon Mcburney of the promoting club looks a strong favourite for the womans race after a comfortable victory at Slieve Gullion.
