Thu 23 December 2004 - Simon Taylor

Ballymena Runners will host the 10th Race Over the Glens when they promote their annual off road forest race on New Years day.The clubs preparation for the popular holiday race has received a welcome boost with a sponsorship deal from Kwik Fit and a race support package from Fitness First Ballymena and Martin and Hamilton Building contractors

Kwik Fit Customer Sales Manager Ireland, Aidan Neeson, on behalf of the company was happy to step in with sponsorship for the race which at one time looked in doubt due to increased fees levied by the Forestry Commission.
