Asian Quake Charity Run Update III

Show your support for Asian countries devastated by the Quake and tsunami waves - come for a charity run on Newcastle beach on Sunday, 9th January at 2:30pm.

The event will be approximately 4 miles, starting from the beach just north of the Visitors Centre. The route goes north along the beach for approximately two miles with a scenic loop through the sand dunes at the far end, returning to the finish near the Visitors Centre. Please note there will be no prizes.

Donations of ?5 (or more if you wish), with all proceeds to Tsunami Earthquake Appeal.

Enter on the day at the Registration Centre: Newcastle Visitors Centre, Central Promenade from 1 pm.

Weather Update: There looks like there could be some showers on Sunday, so please come prepared for all conditions.
