Pegasus 10K Forest Race
Wed 21 September 2005 - Ian Taylor
If you are looking for a race to wind down from mountain running or to
wind up for cross country, the Pegasus 10K Forest Race at 2 pm next
Saturday, 24 September, may be just what you need.
The race is in Springwell Forest, on the main Coleraine to Limavady
road, with the entrance on the right hand side, about 2 miles after the
Macosquinn/Ringsend junction and before the long sweeping left hand
bend uphill. Entry on the day is ?9 to club members and includes
a tee-shirt.
The following week the Slieve Gallion race is growing in popularity
every year under the expertise of Jonathan & Hugh McCloy.
Details are on the web. Alternatives are the Crawfordsburn Trail
Race or a 10K in Dungannon.
