Slieve Foye

You will be pleased to know that the Slieve Foye race is definitely on this Saturday.  Many of you have already indicated that you will be there to show your navigational skills prior to the Mountain Marathon.  Of course you can do the race as a challenge in its own right.  I understand that at least one of those who went astray on the course in 2004 will be back as will the reigning champion.

Brian has two course lengths - 20.5 kms and 13.5 kms, measured in a straight line - although most of you will be aware that there are no straight lines on Slieve Foye.

Since the race numbers are not quite full yet, there is still time to enter on the day.  As  competitors start at individual times, please plan to come earlier than the advertised time of 10 am to allow time to sort out your start time.
