Championship 2007

Overall Championship Results for 2007 can be accessed by looking at the race results menus or, in rather better layout, from the next event/calendar page for date 15 October.

For the six Championship races, points are allocated with male winner 100, second place 99 etc with a similar allocation for ladies.  All non-NI athletes are excluded unless they are NIMRA members.  In allocating points no account is taken of whether you are a NIMRA member.  The results are listed in net points order, taking the best four counting races.

Overall 148 athletes competed in the six Championship races, with 38 athletes taking part in 4 or more races.  However males have to finish one at each distance and some of you missed races.  Others of you did not sign up as NIMRA members - if you are in either of these situations your results are in green italics on the race details version of the results.  Seven of you drop out for these reasons leaving 31 Championship completions.

In writing this I have just discovered a slight mistake in selecting the best four races for those with five or more results. Two athletes have net points totals slightly too high but this does not affect the athletes placings.

If you discover any further errors please let us know.  We will then confirm the category winners. 

The team positions will be issued in due course.
