Three Peaks Entries
Tue 20 November 2007 - Ian Taylor
The Three Peaks web site opened this morning for entries to the race on Saturday, 26th April.
The address is
http://www.threepeaksrace.org.uk/
Next year the event is the World Mountain Running Associations long
distance event so a top class race is guaranteed. The event is 23
miles with 1700 metres of climb over very fast runable terrain.
As a WMRA event the course is marked throughout, not that there was
ever much problem over route finding. To enter you must either
have done two A category long or medium races eg Annalong, Spelga,
Donard-Commedagh or have other suitable distance experience.
Since opening this morning the entry list is now at 370+ and climbing,
with a limit of 750. If you want to enter do it today.
Entries are on line from the above site. It may take a few goes
to be able to access the Sport ID entry system as its quite busy.
You will also have to register with Sport ID first but its all done
from the above web address.
The event is on 26th April, one week after Knockdhu (19th) and three weeks after our long Br Champ counter on 5th April.
