European Masters

At the European Masters in Barcelona over a fast course five NI athletes teamed up with IMRA members to mount a strong challenge.
In the M35 category Steve Duncan finished second, Dave Bell was 28th in M50 and Willie John Brown 25th in M55. The overall Irish team was second in the M35-40 race and 4th in the M45-50 race.
The ladies did even better with an Irish 1, 2, 3 in the W45 cetegory, with Anne Sandford, second following winner Helen White and Tish McCann in 3rd place. Naturally they claimed the W45-50 team award with a further Irish team third in the W35-40 category.
