Glenravel Festival Races

As part of the Glenravel festival there will be two races.

Twin Peaks Monday 19th August

This is a short, fast, fun race over Tuftarney Hill and Cargan Rock. I am told the terrain is mainly open mountain and trails with a little tarmac thrown in. This has previously been won by Jonny Steede.  Last year 170 keen runners took on the challenge.  You can see the route here.

Registration takes place in Cargan Village from 6pm and will be easy to find.  The race starts at 7.30pm.  It is 5 pounds to enter.

Skerry 10K Sunday 25th August

This is a challenging, picturesque, hilly 10K road race.  You can see the route here.

Registration from 1pm at Skerry Inn in Newtown-Crommelin. The race starts at 2pm. It is a tenner to enter which includes chip timing.
