NIMRA Junior Squad 2025 Announcement

NIMRA are delighted to announce the Junior Squad for 2025.

The selection process has been quite challenging this year, with over 45% of the athletes at the first trial taking the wrong route.

As a result the selection team were left with the unenviable choice of using a second selection event, the Tollymore Hill & Dale as an additional trial to select the squad.

Times to the summit as well as finish times were used to compare athletes performances in these two events.

The final team spots have been confirmed this week and we are now able to announce the 8 athletes selected to compete at the U18 International in Slovakia in June, as well as the Squad for 2025, from whom athletes will be selected for the B&I travelling to Wales in September.

NIMRA would like to wish the athletes every success as they make the final preparations for these competitions.
