NIMRA Watertown Wander 10K Race (Fundraiser)
On 9 May NIMRA will host the Watertown Wander 10k at Silent Valley in the Mournes, as well as a trial day for VJ Shoes.
This race has been added to the NIMRA League for 2026
This race is a fundraiser for NIMRA to support mountain running in Northern Ireland. Pure Running will also be there running a trial day for VJ shoes – come along and try them out, even if you aren’t taking part in the race.
This event will be fully marked and runners will not be required to navigate, but will need to carry basic equipment.
Start time is 12pm (midday).
The race will start on Silent Valley Dam then following the Mourne Wall up over Slievenaglogh before descending to the Banns Road, climbing old quarry tracks back to the Mourne Wall and returning to the trails at Silent Valley before finishing back on Silent Valley Dam.
Pre-entries are £15 with a limited number of £18 on the day entries available.
