2014 Kicking Off Soon – Slieve Gullion

The 2014 season kicks off in earnest in less than two weeks with the annual visit to Slieve Gullion.  This short race is always a good chance to see who has been training during the winter and who has been working their way through a truck load of biscuits

Last year The Steede took off into the mist like a caged animal.  He then visited the wrong hill top and was promptly disqualified.  In the groups behind the murky conditions led to quite a few others following routes that were deemed out of bounds and when the mud settled the results were not quite as expected.  Can this years runners do any better?….Roll on race day.
