The Scrabo Hill Race hosted by Ballydrain Harriers returns for it’s 3rd year and is a short distance category in the NIMRA Championship. Taking place on Thursday 15th August 2024.

All the usual NIMRA age categories catered for including juniors (under 18). Junior athletes participating for selection to the NI & Ulster Team at the British and Irish Championships should just enter according to their age. Results for U17 and U20 will then be processed separately.
Directions:
From Belfast, follow Newtownards Road A20 to Newtownards. Turn right at 1st roundabout onto Blair Mayne Rd South. Straight across next roundabout (signs for Scrabo Country Park) and turn right onto Scrabo Road. After Maxol Service Station turn left following Scrabo Road. Continue for approx. 1mile and turn right for Scrabo Golf Club/Scrabo Country Park.
From Newcastle/Banbridge/Lisburn, travel to Comber (County Down), follow A21 towards Newtownards. Approx 1.5 miles from Comber turn left onto Moat Road. Junction at top of Moat Road turn left and immediately right for Scrabo Golf Club/Scrabo Country Park.
Car parking at top of hill on left. Overflow car parking available at lower car park (Killynether Wood), located ¼ mile further round Scrabo Road.
Registration is at BHAC Gazebo located in Upper Car Park. Start area is in field adjacent to lower car park, ~3 min walk from upper car parks. This will be signposted from upper car park and marshals will be available for directions.
