Hill and Dales 2013: Slieve Martin Recce
There were 15 or 20 ‘hardened fell runners’ out for the tradional Monday night run over the race course. It was a beautiful night for being in the hills with mild temperatures and lots of sun providing great views over the lough. I can report that the path from the hut to the top of Slieve Martin is in pretty reasonable condition; order diflucan online however the stretch between the cairn and the Cloughmore Stone has seen better days. It is rougher than usual with a lot of surface water, mud, loose stone and the odd small patch of snow.
The scouting party
Look forward to seeing you all on Thursday for round three of this years Hill and Dales. This is also a NIMRA Grand Prix race.
