Course same start point as seniors running via a marked route to the summit of Meelbeg and returning the same route back to the start. More details of the event can be found here.
This will be used as a selection race for the Home International teams who are competing in Scotland on 16th Sept. Teams U20 Men and Women (born 1998, 1999, 2000) and U17 boys and girls (born 2001 and 2002).
The home international will be an ‘up and down’ race this year, on a largely out and back course – hence the use of this route for selection.
Places will be selected for the 1st two runners in each catergory and the remaining places will be selected at the committees discretion based on previous results and current form.
