NIMRA Members Update

We are now fast approaching the start of the Mountain running season which kicks off with the long standing opening race Slieve Gullion on Saturday 5th March. This is always a good race to sharpen the climbing skills before the first race of the NIMRA championship which will be the following weekend on Saturday 12th March at Glenariff.

If you have not already renewed your 2016 membership it would be advisable to do this before the start of the championship via this link to ensure that your race counts in the championship.

For all 2016 members the membership cards will be available at the race for collection if not already posted.

Also as a reminder if you are interested in the British Championship Donard Commedagh Horseshoe race on Saturday 9th April then to facilitate the organising committee regarding entry numbers could you please enter at your earliest convenience.

And finally as part of NIMRA’s Environmental policy a weekend has been earmarked for a litter pick in and around Donard Park. This will take place on 3rd and 4th April, so as a NIMRA member you will be most welcome to join a group to help pick litter from some of the trails. More details closer to the time will be posted on the website.
