Wilson and Lynch claim victory at Spelga Skyline

On he 29th June 77 runners put their toe on the start line and started another epic Barf adventure. Newcastle ACs’ Seamus Lynch would continue his dominance at these longer distance races as he took the victory in a time of 2:27:08. Mark Stephens also from NAC would take second in a time of 2:43:59 leaving Mourne Runners’ Timmy Johnston to complete the podium in a time of 2:45:54.

The ladies race would see Megan Wilson appearing back to produce an excellent run and coming in 7th overall in a time of 2:52:15. The next step on the podium went to Newry AC’s Esther Dickson, finishing in 3:06:19 followed by Iola Hopkinson, unattached in 3:35:57.
